Money Smart for Small Business (MSSB) provides a practical introduction to topics related to starting and managing a business. Developed jointly by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), this instructor-led curriculum consists of 13 modules. This module is the 12th module of the series. Subsequent modules will be presented every Wednesday, starting July 26th (with the exception of this class) and ending October 18th. Participants do not need to complete previous modules to participate in future modules. After completing this module, you will be able to: •Understand the federal, state, and local tax reporting requirements of a small business •Explain how to manage your tax obligations and establish proper accounts •Understand how the forms and processes are used to pay business taxes.
